I first tried to help people by becoming a doctor - that was too much blood and guts. I then did virus research for six years, but that was too stuffy. So I became a lawyer, which I like just fine. During my thirty or so years as a lawyer I have done almost exclusively medical malpractice cases, representing people who have been hurt. In doing so I try to be warm and responsive to clients like you - and someone whom you can trust.

I have also tried to serve the legal and non-legal community. I have been on the Board of Directors of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association and am currently on the New Mexico Supreme Court Legal Specialization Board and Uniform Civil Jury Instructions Committee. I am on the board of directors of Cornucopia Adult Day Services, which provides services to frail and elderly clients in the South Valley section of Albuquerque. I currently am the President of the Governing Council of Cesar Chavez Community School and am a
Court-Appointed Special Advocate for abused and neglected children (click here for article).

I will try to represent you with intelligence, zeal and compassion.
