Greg has 30 years of experience in civil litigation, including personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, premises liability and professional malpractice claims. Since 1980, he has tried over 50 civil jury trials and over 25 non-jury trials in state and federal courts all over New Mexico.
In 1993, the New Mexico Supreme Court appointed Greg to serve on the Disciplinary Board, where he volunteered from 1993 to 1998, acting as Vice-Chair from 1997 to 1998. Greg is still called upon from time to time to act as a reviewing officer, a hearing officer and Assistant Bar Counsel. Since 2001, Greg has been listed in the respected directory of the Best Lawyers in America. He currently serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of New Mexico School of Law, where he teaches trial practice. In 2005, he was inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers. In 2006, Greg graduated from the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, Wyoming. He was honored by being selected for inclusion in the "Top 25" lawyers in New Mexico in Super Lawyers 2007 and 2008. In November 2009, Greg tried Selk vs. ResCare with his partner, Carl Bettinger. The case involved the sexual assault of a developmentally delayed individual in a group home. After a three week trial, the jury returned a verdict in favor of Greg's client in the amount of $54,100,000, the largest personal injury verdict in the state of New Mexico.
Presently, Greg’s practice concentrates on claims involving medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, wrongful death, insurance, bad faith and mediation.
